Baby Talk: Anti-Men!

We may have a slight problem at our house!  Little Miss Paige wants nothing to do with men...not even her own Daddy!  Don't get me wrong, she loves her Daddy and she still gives him the best smiles but she doesn't want him to hold her...AT ALL!  She has always favored females, mainly because she is around them the majority of the day but it has gotten worse this past month.  She cries when Wes holds her (most of the time) and cries when her Granddaddy and Boompa talk to her.  I really hope this is just a short phase we are going through.  This is what happens whenever a male holds her....and yes her Daddy takes this picture and will send to me if I am working, ugh!
I mean, I love being her favorite but sometimes it would be nice to be able to let her Daddy hold her or play with her so I can get something done.

Does anyone else have this issue?  I wish I could fix it..I know one day she will not be this way but I hate that she does it.  Wes doesn't get bothered by much but yesterday he kept saying, "Paige, I wish you liked me".  Broke this Mama's heart!
Paige is such a sweet and happy baby for the most part.  We were on the floor playing and she was just singing and talking and Wes said he wishes she would do that with him (some of that is his fault for not doing it when she was younger but still..)  I mean, who wouldn't want to play with and love on this sweet girl?

  1. Our niece went through this too - would cry when her Dad picked her up, cried at my husband - just wanted he ladies. It passed quickly! Paige is so sweet!!

  2. ive heard of this happening before but never seen it! what a funny stage! i hope it passes soon!
    she is adorable!

  3. My best friends daughter went through the same faze. What she was did was stay around while her husband played with the baby or spent time with her then gradually as her daughter got closer with her husband it went away. I'm sure it is just a quick faze.

  4. She is such a doll! :) I always wonder what our baby is going to be like in that regard!
