Daddy/Daughter Day and Mama tagged along too!

Sunday morning, Wes told me to get Paige dressed, he wanted to take her to Wal-Mart.  They were about to leave and he said...come on, you can come too!  He knows that I love to document all of Paige's "first" and she had a huge first on Sunday.  So we all went to Wal-Mart and Wes got Paige her very own fishing rod.  I thought he would get a baby looking one but no, he got her a fancy one.  He actually bought two rods because he liked the short rod on one and the (I don't know the right words) but the thing that holds the line and handle.  
So after he found all of his fishing stuff, bought worms and fixed Paige's new fishing rod, we ate lunch at home and then headed to my parents pond to fish!  Paige sat there listening to everything Wes was telling her about fishing...she was really taking it all in! 
 
Then once we started fishing, we caught fish after fish!  She was so in to it!  She loved watching Wes reel in the fish while she held on to the rod.  Paige acted like she wanted to touch the fish and then squealed when Wes held it close to her...too cute! 

The excitement ended once the fish stopped!  Paige was getting a little bored!  Luckily my parents came over for a visit and she was entertained again!  We left Daddy at the pond with Jonathan so Paige could go home for nap time.


I loved fishing when I grew up and I hope Paige will enjoy it as well.  I know her Daddy wants her to love it!
